Thankfully, I had the knowledge and tools to start changing my health. But that experience stuck with me. I couldn’t stop thinking about the women who never get tested, never get told, and never get the opportunity to prepare their bodies before pregnancy.

Today, I’m pursuing a PhD in Community Health Promotion with a focus on maternal health education. Through my continued academic and professional journey, I began noticing the same gap in the research and interventions I contributed to… preconception health. This phase before pregnancy was often misunderstood, ignored, or left out of the conversation altogether.

I created Temple Health Collective to change that.

Temple Health Collective is a maternal health education and coaching company focused on the season before pregnancy—the preconception phase. We support women in preparing their bodies (their temples) with intentional, evidence-based care.

We Do Things Differently Here:

We center YOU, not just the outcome.

We blend soulful care and science.

We believe preparation is power.

We see your health as sacred, not secondary.

Whether you’re planning to conceive soon or simply want to reconnect with your body by putting your health first, you deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered, not hopeless or confused.

Hi, i'm victoria

A maternal health educator, researcher, fertility doula, and certified health coach with over a decade of experience in public health.

My passion for maternal health started in high school, when I first learned about the maternal health inequities affecting Black women and other underserved communities. Throughout college, I immersed myself in maternal health research, health disparities training, and community health work. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and a Master of Public Health. But at 24, something shifted.

I ran a hormone panel on myself out of curiosity. I had no major health concerns and no red flags, but the results were shocking. I was told that some of my hormone levels were similar to those of an 80-year-old woman. To make matters worse, I was told that if I tried to get pregnant at that time, I would definitely miscarry.
